After we went to the Lego Store, our next stop was the Apple Store. We all decided as usual, we really "needed" an iPad.
Hey, who's that stranger? Just to prove I really was there!
Even Tzippi loved the iPad. There was a drawing app and she loved it.
What were they selling you ask? What's that on top of the trailer? Strange siren or light.
Nope, not a siren, but a cupcake. They were cupcake shops called Hey Cupcakes and the cupcakes were delicious! Tina I so wanted to bring you a strawberry one. They were scrumptious and reminded me of your strawberry birthday cake you love so much. I couldn't figure out how to get it home in tact though. Next time you are in Austin, you MUST stop and try one.
We promised the kids after they took a bath and got ready for bed they could have their cupcakes. Quickest baths ever and no arguing. Here's Tzippi ready to dig in.
But most of all the kids loved swimming at the hotel. They would have been satisfied with just staying in and swimming all day.
First day, Tzippi was terrified of the water. Janine and I finally convinced her she was not going to drown and if she started getting scared just float or put her feet down and touch the bottom. By day two she was just like a little fish and by day three she decided she didn't need her floaties or puffs as she called them.
We all enjoyed the cool waters of the pool after a hot day gadding about Austin.
They also loved the hot tub and Zee's favorite thing to do was get his little boogie board and "surfing" the jets. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves almost the whole time. The last night a guy came out for a little while, but didn't stay too long. He was trying to talk on the phone. We tried to keep the kids quiet, but he finally gave up and left.
And to sum it all up . . . . a great time had by all.
