I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon and the official diagnosis was tonsillitis, pharyngitis and laryngitis. Needless to say that means severe sore throat. And to make matters worse, no talking. Do you know how hard that is for a "Chatty Kathy" like me? I still try to talk, but everyone always says, "What did you say?" So very frustrating. I got a big 'ole shot of penicillin and a z-pack and cough medicine. I'm not sure if it's fortunate or unfortunate that the cough medicine has codeine. It sure puts me to sleep, but I don't like that "drug induced feeling it gives." I guess that is why I was never curious about the illegal stuff as I never really liked the feeling from the legal stuff, plus I have never liked being out of control in any way. I was really hoping I'd have my voice back today, but no such luck. I am feeling better, but decided to fore go yoga today and just stay home and rest. I am thankful for my doting husband that is taking very good care of me. The only problem is I still haven't done my homework for my photography class. After last week's fiasco my teacher is going to think I'm a big fat loser! I'm determined to get it done, but I'm having to fight hubby about getting out to take pictures of the sunrise and sunset.
