Well, we made it. We got off a little later than expected, but still arrived by 4:00 New Mexico time. We made several stops along the way and enjoyed the drive
immensely. The leaves are starting to turn and it was just beautiful. We stopped and took a picture of the river
and a really pretty mesa or butte. Our Bed and Breakfast is very quaint and Cheryl and I are both pleased. We decided not to do the hot tub tonight and are heading to bed early. We are very anxious to go on the llama trek tomorrow and are having quite the time deciding what to wear. The inn keeper recommended a lovely place for dinner tonight. I had fresh trout and Cheryl had some unknown gross fish (called sole). She said the fresh vegetables and garlic potatoes made up for it. We then shared a decadent dessert that was dark chocolate and raspberry sauce with ice cream.
It was to die for. We then walked around on the plaza, but almost all the shops were closed, but we started our list of places to visit. Well, it's almost time for them to shut down the server, so I better get off for now. Check back tomorrow, should be something exciting.
