My niece Courtney and her two year old son Bryson have been here for the past two weeks. Most of my family from the Lubbock area wanted to visit with them, but couldn’t really make the trip to Amarillo, so we decided to meet in Plainview for lunch. We reserved a private room in a local diner as we can be a “little” rowdy. We were supposed to all be there at 12:30 and most of us were, but my other niece Hester and her crew were in a little fender-bender and were late arriving. Good news is no one was really hurt, just shook up a little. We had a wonderful time and I was able to take some great photos for the memory book.
Most of the gang, waiting on our lunch to be delivered.
Another group shot. Hester and her kids had not arrived yet.
Passing the time with a Congo line.
Cousins catching up with each other.
Courtney and Bryson.
Nonny (Lavonna) and her buddy Bryson. I know she hates to see them leave.
Mom and Dad with most of their grand and great grand kids. The only ones missing were Avi (Larry)and Mallory.
Mom and Dad’s fifty-eighth wedding anniversary is next week. I told them “Look what you started 58 years ago.”
My sister Darla and her brood of grand-children.
We had a wonderful time visiting even though it was brief, we love getting together. Next gathering . . . Three Falls Cove in July.

What a crew! Looks like the Waltons! We had a good time getting together for a little time anyway.
